Friday’s session was the fourth in a row where traders saw flat DAX volumes. Day initially seemed to be a tough one, because the last week trading ended with the fall of Chinese indices. What is more EUR/USD currency pair rose significantly, which does not help the German bulls.
Despite all these adversities, all German indices ended the day with increases – DAX +0,46% (11309 pkt), MDAX +0,97% (20764 pkt), SDAX +0,68% (8960 pkt), TECDAX +0,51% (1770 pkt). Of course we have to remember that last Friday was not only the end of the week, but also of the month – in which investment funds are broadly interested in more active trading and positive outcome.
Friday’s session on DAX30 brought 7 decreases – Volkswagen became the biggest “loser” and lost -1.38%. The remaining 23 companies grew – the biggest gainer was K+S +5.97%.
