Overview of Awesome SMA setups is a daily collection of analyses of potential setups based on this strategy. Detailed description can be found under this link. The cycle will last exactly two weeks. After this period, on Saturday, 18th November, I will publish a report summarizing the statistics of this strategy and will report whether or not these two weeks could be profitable.
As announced earlier, on the same day, I will also present another strategy that I will test for another two weeks. In this way I will try to test as many investment strategies as possible to find the best and most effective.
As the Awesome SMA strategy is a 25 minute strategy for binary options and its signals should be tracked on a 5 minute interval, I decided that the two week tests will be conducted on the 4 most popular currency pairs in time period 8:00-16:00. In this way, we will check whether investing 8 hours a day on 5 instruments can be profitable.
Today, between 8:00 and 16:00, the Awesome SMA generated a total of 8 signals on observed currency pairs from which 2 of them turned to be profitable and 6 losers. This means that the efficiency was 25 %. Taking into account the return on investment that uTrader offers is fluctuating between 76% and 81% in total, making 8 transactions we could lose 3,66:1
Below I present a graph of observed instruments in the time interval between 8am and 4pm. On the orange are marked the signal candles, after closing which we could open the PUT or CALL options:
Analysing today’s signals we can notice that if the expiry time would be shortened from 25 to 15 minutes than efficiency would be higher. On weekend I will test all this weeks signals keeping my observation in mind and maybe slightly modify the assumptions of the strategy.
I realize that the above analyses are historical setups, but the whole cycle is supposed to:

- Check if the Awesome SMA strategy is profitable
