PFSOFT LLC, the provider of a multi-asset platform Protrader, announced today the launch of their newest project Protrader Multi-Connect (PTMC). The company that offers a turnkey trading technology to brokerage firms made a significant turn and decided to address traders.
Thus far Protrader platform was available only at brokers who built their business using a turnkey solution offered by PFSFOT as Protrader platform worked only with Protrader server. But the PTMC is characterized by the ability to connect to different brokers without changing a front-end terminal. That means brokers won’t have to dedicate resources to run Protrader solution with its server side. The PTMC platform will communicate with broker’s actual system through the API.
In the same time PFSOFT stated that the first broker integrated with PTMC is FXCM Ltd. Not long ago media informed about FXCM and PFSOFT’s partnership regarding B2B integration available for brokers. Now both companies went further by enabling a direct access to FXCM’s accounts with use of Protrader’s functionality.
“We were receiving many signals from traders who would like to use Protrader front-end with their prefered broker. That is why we looked for some solution for them.” – says Roman Nalivayko, Head of Business Development at PFSOFT – “When we asked traders to vote for their favorite broker it turned out that FXCM won the first place. Unfortunately, many brokers of traders’ choice do not have an API and that’s an issue.“
PFSOFT said in their statement that PTMC will contain numerous tools that were available in Protrader platform, however detailed functionality check shows that some limitations exist mainly due to brokers offer and their APIs. In case of FXCM it’s lack of level 2 quotes so the market depth becomes useless.
