March 24-25 undoubtedly will be long remembered by the representatives of the European financial markets industry. The third edition of FxCuffs has confirmed that the event is one of the largest in the Old Continent, attracting thousands of investment supporters – from the retail OTC market, through the stocks trading and alternative forms of capital multiplication.

More than 4,000 people visited the ICE Congress Centre in Cracow!

According to the official FxCuffs data, this year’s conference brought together over four thousand visitors during two days of fairs and conferences. The third edition was the largest not only in terms of the number of guests, but also exhibitors and panelists. Thanks to this, the organizers were able to establish their strong position in Europe showing that FxCuffs has become one of the largest event in this part of the world.

The vice-president of the FxCuffs Foundation and founder of Comparic.pl is convinced that the next editions can only be better: “When we started building FxCuffs brand in 2014, we did not expect to create such a developed and widespread project. Although the event mainly focused on the relatively small Polish retail FX industry, we managed to evolve into a form in which institutional investors, representatives of the regulated capital markets and sympathizers of a number of  other investment forms, including the real estate and cryptocurrencies, were eagerly participating. I want to sincerely thank all of you for your presence and I hope that in 2018 we will beat the records once again”.

New experiences showed that an open and free formula works best. Therefore, the next FxCuffs edition will take a similar form, opening up to each participant. At the same time, the organizers count on industry and investor’s feedback to create a fully optimized event format in the future.

This success would not have been possible without the invaluable contribution of the strategic partners – Comparic.pl and Forexclub.pl portals, responsible for this year’s preparation. The cooperation between these two entities is excellent and will continue through the next years.

Anton Kreil, Forex and not only…

The whole event was promoted by the former trader of large institutional banks, Anton Kreil, who conducted the open lecture for over 2,000 people and closed seminar for individual traders and industry representatives. Additionally, they were able to take part in an exclusive dinner with the BBC star, when in a relaxed atmosphere there was an opportunity to exchange experiences and market secrets.

FxCuffs 2017 was of course not only about Anton Kreil. The Congress Centre in Cracow also gathered respected the experts from Poland and Europe, presenting a wealth of topics in investment psychology, strategies, macroeconomic and alternative approach to money generation. What is more, the hosts decided to broaden the previous formula, inviting capital markets representatives, the stock exchange and people from retail estates or cryptocurrency industries.

The attendees had an amazing opportunity to take part in the debate about current retail FX and capital markets regulation and alleged changes that can be seen in the nearest future. Jakub Zabłocki – founder of X-Trade Brokers (XTB), during a separate panel was talking about the beginnings of his career and how he built one of the biggest European brokerage houses.

Charity trading and attractive competitions

One of the overarching and status roles of the FxCuffs Foundation is not only to provide education of financial markets, but also  support the initiatives that help those in need. Consequently, for the second year in a row, we organized the charity trading in partnership with Trading Jam Session (TJS). Under the leadership of Rafał Zaorski, several dozen of traders through Friday, March 24, traded to generate the profits to spend on charitable purposes. The brokers declared return of spreads and commission to add another brick to the whole sum.

During FxCuffs, TMS Brokers also announced the official winners of the “Million in management” content, where the best trader received a seven-digit amount to his own trading account. This year, a woman was able to beat other traders showing that female investors are doing very well in the Polish market.

The participants had also a unique opportunity to take part in the competitions offered by the exhibitors. X-Trade Brokers had a chance to race sport cars, Tickmill offered Segweys, and Noble Markets was offering Apple devices.

FxCuffs prizes handed out for the third time

FxCuffs is not just a trade show and conference, but also a prize-awarding ceremony. In 2017, we chose the winners in 11 categories, where X-Trade Brokers highlighted its dominance by winning 5 of them. It is worth pointing out that each year the FxCuffs statue project is different, emphasizing the unique nature of individual events. According to the gathered guests, this year’s version was the best one designed so far.

We are also extremely pleased that the nominees and individuals are increasingly engaged in promoting their candidacies, raising awareness of the competition among representatives of the Polish industry”.

Business for your business – networking face of the FxCuffs

Although FxCuffs is targeted mainly at retail customers, it is also a great opportunity for industry representatives. In particular it demonstrated by the presence of institutional exhibitors and brokerage staff from various parts of Europe.

Comparic VIP Lounge and Forex Club VIP Lounge, located on the second and third floors of the ICE Cracow Congress Centre,  provided an opportunity for B2B participants to talk about a potential cooperation in a quiet atmosphere with a cup of aromatic coffee.

The banquet held on Saturday summarizing the entire event also turned out to be a great venue for networking, where the exhibitors and invited guests could freely exchange their opinions, feelings and offer the organizers some feedback worth being implemented in subsequent editions.

FxCuffs Foundation and its co-creators thank you all for participating in the third edition of FxCuffs, hoping that next year’s event will mark another milestone. See you in Krakow on March 16-17, 2018!
