The setup overview for EMA Rainbow Strategy is a daily collection of analyzes of potential trades based on this strategy. Detailed description of the strategy can be found in this link. The cycle will last exactly two weeks. After this period, on Saturday, October 7, I will publish a summary of the statistics of this strategy and will report whether or not during these two weeks tested strategy was profitable.
As announced earlier, on the same day, I will also present another strategy that I will test for another two weeks. In this way I will try to test as many investment strategies as possible to find the best and most effective.
On the AUDCAD only from the beginning of the session we had already 4 signals to open the position. As it turns out, 3 out of these positions could be profitable. The red arrows on the graph mark signal candle, while the colored rectangles are from the opening until the option expires. According to the assumptions of the EMA Rainbow strategy this period is three times longer than observed interval. Currently pair is moving in a horizontal trend, so that the moving averages are too close together to open next positions. It is better to wait for some larger directional move.
On AUDUSD we had until now three signals to open the PUT option. It is worth noting that all were profitable. At the moment we are seeing an uptrend, and if this trend is followed by the moving average, in the near future we would have the opportunity to open CALL option on this instrument.
On the EURGBP currency pair today we had 5 opportunities to open options from which only one was wrong. The next signal could appear after another correction and re-test of violet average (EMA14).

GBPCAD gave us today a chance to open three options. Two of them proved to be profitable and one lost. It turns out that, despite all this, the instrument could achieve a positive rate of return. The next signal to look forcan occur after correction and re-test of EMA14.
Today, for the first time this week on USDCHF the strategy EMA Rainbow generated signals one by one. The first unfortunately turned out to be lossy, while the next four would make up for lost capital leaving a very positive return.

- check if the EMA Rainbow strategy is profitable
- make us familiar with the strategy assumptions
