The middle session of the week turned out to be very calm, the DAX fluctuated between 12,650 and 12,550, closing at a symbolic increase of 0.04%. The geopolitical risk has taken a backseat. FED member Kaplan said that in 2018 we are only waiting for two rate hikes due to the slowdown in the US economy in the coming years. Among the components of the DAX index, the best result was recorded by RWE, which gained 2.89% and Deutsche Post increased by 1.48%. The worst result was on Continental by – 4.05%, and Commerzbank was below 1.73%.
