Already on 21-23 May, Cyprus’ Limassol will become the world’s currency market capital. According to the organisers, the iFX EXPO 2019 event is expected to be visited by more than 3000 professionals representing Forex and crypto from the business side.

All industry experts in one place

However, iFX EXPO is not only a trade fair but also experts’ lectures and discussion panels. This year, the organizers have invited nearly 70 speakers who have gained recognition in the industry and who will share their knowledge and experience related not only to running brokerage houses but also to the functioning of the market and the innovations that keep appearing on the market. Among the invited guests are mainly representatives of brokers, liquidity providers and technology providers, but also analysts, economists and the chairwoman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, Demetra Kalogerou.

Due to the growing interest in the event, this year’s edition of iFX EXPO International will take place in Spyros Kypriannou Athletic Centre. The full list of speakers is available at this link. The schedule of the two-day event can be found here.

Comparic24.tv will also be present at the event.

Such a big event in the forex industry can not be missed by the camera of the new investment television, Comparic24.tv. If you are going to the fair, you will have the opportunity to meet our team there in the person of Adam Rak and Marcin Nowogorski. However, if you do not manage to visit Cyprus, you will still be able to meet them on the Comparic.tv watching the report and interviews conducted on the spot.

Throughout the conference, we will try to collect for you the speeches of various representatives of our industry. We will also try to collect as much information as possible about the current situation of the market participants and their feelings, as well as the general state of the environment. Naturally, all this in the context of the impact on our trading environment.

The coverage of iFX Expo 2019 will appear on Comparic24.tv and our social media in just a few days!

What you can’t see

Retail traders are not interested in the business side of retail FX on a daily basis and this is not surprising, however, it is worth remembering that in the long run it is the talks and business ventures that trigger the changes that affect our trading conditions. The business side is also becoming more and more important when we trade relatively high deposits/turns on our account as either a high-value client (HNWI) or a corporate/professional client. When we trade large volumes, relationships with brokers and the situation of liquidity providers takes on a specific and significant financial dimension for us.
That’s why we believe it’s worth looking at the backstage at least once or twice a year (iFX Expo and London Summit) to see how they cook our future dish in the forex “kitchen”. And for those who would like to visit the expo, this is a very good excuse to make yourself a pleasant, holiday week in Cyprus.
