The setup overview for the ADX EMA is a daily set of analyses of potential investment bases based on this strategy. Detailed description can be found under this link. The cycle will last exactly two weeks. After this period, on Saturday 4 November, I will publish a report summarizing the statistics of this strategy and will report whether or not these two weeks were profitable.
As announced earlier, on the same day, I will also present another strategy that I will test for another two weeks. In this way I will try to test as many investment strategies as possible to find the best and most effective.
Since the ADX EMA strategy is a 60-second strategy for the options and its signals should be tracked at 1-minute intervals, I decided that the two week tests will be conducted on the 5 most popular currency pairs within hours. 8: 00-12: 00. In this way we will check whether investing 4 hours a day on 6 instruments can be profitable.
Today, between 8:00 and 12:00, the ADX EMA generated a total of 98 signals on the currency pairs observed. Only 46 of them were profitable and 52 wrong. This means that the efficiency was 46,94%. Taking into account the return on investment that uTrader is fluctuating between 70% and 73% in total, 98 transactions would lose 18,93:1.
This is the fifth day in a row, when the signals generated by the ADX EMA strategy cause a loss. In connection with our earlier promise, we are breaking this test and I will present a new strategy tomorrow. It will be based on exactly the same two indicators so you do not have to change platform settings, but they will be used in completely different way. Tomorrow I will publish all details along with a summary of the entire week of tests tomorrow.
