Great news for those who have long been eyeing the altcoins, but have yet to find an easy and safe way to buy in. Today we officially launch trading for the most famous cryptocurrencies right through the EXANTE terminal.

Back in 2013, we founded our own Bitcoin fund, which became the world’s first regulated way of speculating in Bitcoin or investing in it for long-term gain. And now after 4 years, we take the next step and launch trading in other popular digital coins.

Besides Bitcoin, EXANTE customers will now be able to trade five more cryptocurrencies: LTC (Litecoin), XRP (Ripple), ETH (Ethereum), XMR (Monero), and ZEC (Zcash).

The best thing for EXANTE customers is that they do not need to make a difficult choice between traditional assets and new promising instruments anymore. For trading cryptocurrencies they can now use the same brokerage account as for buying shares, options, bonds and all other instruments, and the total number of the instruments available through our terminal is now over 45,000.

Another important point is that unlike many specialized markets, trading altcoins through EXANTE is safe and completely legal. All the coins purchased are stored at the customer’s personal account, which means you don’t have to create any cryptocurrency walltes, which are often not well protected against hacking.

LTC and XRP will become available for trading today and can be found among other Instruments in Funds section alongside with BTC. As for the other three cryptocurrencies, the live trading will start next month. Until then, they are placed in the Cash section with market rates available.

The trading terms for all new cryptocurrencies are similar to those of the EXANTE Bitcoin Fund. The commission is calculated as a percentage of the transaction (0.5%).

Should you have any questions, please write to us at support@exante.eu or call +356 2015 0000. We’d be glad to tell more you about the new opportunities to invest in cryptocurrencies with EXANTE.
