The ECB Forum on Central Banking is taking place this week in Sintra, Portugal. The final event of the program takes place at 1330 GMT (2:30 pm local time, 9:30 am in New York)  The panel is simply billed as ‘policy panel’ and it includes:

  • Mark Carney, Governor, Bank of England
  • Mario Draghi, President, European Central Bank
  • Haruhiko Kuroda, Governor, Bank of Japan
  • Stephen Poloz, Governor, Bank of Canada

Additionally at 0730GMT John Williams, head of the Federal Reserve branch in san Francisco, continuing his tour of Australia will be  speaking in Canberra. It will be repeat of his June 27th speech in Sydney,b ut it will be followed by Q&A so maybe we will hear something more regarding financial politics in USA. Markets may be volatile during this panel so be careful while trading major pairs.
