DAX is one of the most popular indexes in the world. It is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Virtually daily there is a very large volatility that gives many trading opportunities.
Summary of the session 30/07/2018
At Monday’s session, DAX lost 0.48% deepening the Friday’s low already at the start of the session, but on a very weak volume. The CPI inflation in Germany m / m did not surprise investors, the reading was lower than expected (0,3 vs 0.4% previously) and higher than last month, where 0.1% was recorded.
Among the components of the DAX index, the best result was recorded by Deutsche Bank, which gained 2.90% and Deutsche Lufthansa increased by 1.05%. The worst performance had SAP fell by 2.85% while ThyssenKrupp lost 1.93%. The total number of losing companies outnumbered the number of growing listed in Frankfurt 406 to 297.

Again, yesterday, the first bars of the session belong to the bulls, but soon there may be no more strength for further growth. DAX is traded around 12,790 points around the daily pivot, descending below should encourage the supply to show its presence and push the prices to the first support of 12,740 points.
Only an increase above the trend line drawn from the Friday’s peak may turn the situation upside down. With R1 at 12,820 there are also volume resistances like POC and vwap, their defeat could lead DAX in a short time to 12,875.
Today, the market is waiting for data from Europe on inflation and German unemployment, this combined with the last day of the month may cause increased volatility or the phenomenon of “window dressing”.
